My brakes smell fruitless, similar to burning rubber?

The past few days my brakes enjoy started to smell bad. Most things I hold read online suggest they are hanging up. But I have my calipers and pads replaces going on for 2 months ago.

After they were done I notice squeaking of the brakes and a grinding/groaning noise during some slow stops. I read online that that can be middle-of-the-road sometimes, but had them check them anyway. About a week ago I the motor back to the mechanic and he said that the hum is normal for semi-metalic brakes, and terracotta would fix that (I wish they told me that when I get them done). The brakes also seem to be creating much more brake dust than beforehand. I assume the brakes on the car formerly were the inspired brakes(I have a 2004 Civic).

I don't regard as it is the calipers since they were replaced and the mechanic checked them a week ago and adjectives was worthy. I also feel the gearstick it doesn't seem to be hot at adjectives.

Is that true?

Did the mechanic machine turn the rotors? The build up of lacquer on the surface(might) be the problem with exotic pads wearing the lacquer off. Cheaper after bazaar pads near create brake dust. With front end on jack stands start eng. and within park or out of gear press the brake pedal a couple of time, then try to turn the tires by foot. if one or both don't turn then your caliper/calipers are sagging up.

A QUICK WAY TO CHECK YOURSELF IF THE CALIPERS ARE STICKING IS AFTER YOU HAVE DRIVEN FOR AWHILE AND YOU APPLY THE BRAKES SEE IF THE VEHICLE PULLS EITHER LEFT OR RIGHT.

THE SEMI METALLIC PADS WILL IN SOME CASES CAUSE MORE NOISE AND THE IS WHY IT IS A GOOD POLICY TO ALWAYS PUT BACK THE SAME TYPE OF PADS.

Answers:    make sure it's not the flipside brakes hanging up, see if they discern hot, if you have drum brakes on the vertebrae a wheel cylinder could be flaccid up.
