My uncle has recently replaced the brake pad for the front of my car within the closing two weeks. However, I noticed that my car is making queaky noise as I apply the brake.HELP! whats going on?
Squeaky brakes could mean that they are glazed from city driving/slow braking--or they may have some gravel inbetween--or they may be imperfect and have rivets sticking thru.
Answers: Did he lubricate the sliders? Did he place antisieze on the edges of the pads? Did he replace with latest rotors or atleast have them machined?
siezed pads, insufficient lubrication, rotor condition will effect noise
and i also forgot to mention, what kind of wad material did he use? - semi-metallic, organic, earthen, etc?

Ask your uncle to be sure, but I reflect brakes can make squeaky noises shortly after anyone repaired. It should go away, eventually.

Danny is the individual one on the right track, besides the shade trees. What kind of car, what come OE, did they resurface your rotors, did the torque your wheels, did he clean and lubricate the sliders, sounds close to he is a shade tree, take it to a REAL SHOP and have the rotors turned and stop tolerate your drunk husband work on your car with autozone parts.

It's normal. When I have gotten some new brake pads, it made only just a little squeaky noise when I applied on the brakes. The brake pad you have are probably the ones that don't last as long(but they are much quieter).the ones that concluding a long time make a loud noise I guess(that's what the auto dude told me, lol). I know one piece, I was too happy to procure new brake pads because that horrible grinding hum was getting on my nerves badly!Ask your uncle to be sure, but I reflect brakes can make squeaky noises shortly after anyone repaired.
