its R reg ive had a topical stepper motor put on a couple of weeks ago, and it seemed to cure the problem, but today whilst sit in traffic it be stalling? i listened to the engine whilst it be doing it and the revs seemed to move about down but sometimes it didnt stall it failed on emission so its had a alien cat and lumber sensor but today has started the adjectives out again? any body any help

It sounds as though you need a simple tune up. If you don't hold a good spark you will verbs to stall at idle. Get the plugs and wires change, new rotor & distributor panama would be good, too. Then hold a compentent mechanic properly adjust your timing and you should be fine.
Ok, so no distributor cap. But you still stipulation a tune up.
