I took my car into my repairer to fix my aircon and the overheating, they fixed it and said it was underwarranty. 8days following they rung me and asked to see the 45,000km service. i get it done throught a registered mechanic,showed them and they said if its not guenine parts it voids the warranty. if they would have told me in the past they fixed it i would have got it done somewhere else for cheaper. Do i own to pay for it? or what do i do? Help Please.

Answers: If an ASE certified tech worked on it, your fine, dosent matter what parts you put on it. I've never have a problem. most of the time I get the overflow work from the local Ford dealer. Plus they should of did the put money on ground warranty check before they did the work.

An option is to show that your mechanic lied in the order of his capacity to cover your warranty... but this will involve a court process and you probably have no witnesses. If you do own witness, then go for it, Court is a devout experience to get it soooo right.
But it reads approaching you don't actually know if the parts or service are covered by warranty... it is usually a dealership thing or the mechanic will be sure to check out your insurance policy so he can grasp a little more money than he would claim from you.
Also, air conditioning isnt that desperate, if you have to pay 500 excess or 700 brass for all the repairs, well filch the cash option anyway otherwise your claim may affect your insurance costs.
I wonder if this saloon was brought brand new... why not appropriate it back to where you bought it.

If so, write out an Affidavit and get it signed by a Justice of the Peace or something. Then pocket them to small claims court... really, if they knew and went ahead near the repairs putting on wrong parts, then they are in trouble. You should permit your insurer know this as well as they may know this mechanic already!!

Not sure I am on the right pedestrian area... but, you would have been aware you would own to pay excess with any insurance claim and you would own had contact with your insurer so that they could own approved the payment in the first place next to you covering the excess only!
