I had a car outside door pannel replacement 2 weeks ago and in a minute the door window bottom seal hold an open space of 1/4". I will go pay for to the garage, but I am afraid that a lot of salty dampen and road dirt are inside my door and will make it rust earlier than it should. I be in the carwash and realized that the dampen going down between the window and seal and really didn't similar to it... My car is only 8000Km matured.

Yesterday my 2005 Chevrolet Impala started overheating...

My motor keep shocking me? Help in...

You should have that fixed. Water is Autobody Cholesterol. Once water enter any part of your car that isn't intended to switch it, rust will start. Not to mention any speakers, auto door locks, auto mirror, and/or auto window that may beging to deteriorate.

If you suspect water have entered the area and cause damage, have it inspected for hose down damage before it is repaired. Look for raise paint, staining, discoloraton, ect.

If a reputable body show failed to fix it right the first time, don't let them try to charge you again.

Any notion what this may be??

Answers:    #1 Do not Never "insult" a mechanic , even commonly

The "gap" should be consdiered fine...

All Doors , have drains at the lower Leading contures. (look for yourself) Especially on Models with electric window.

The drains do become clogged with dirt and leaves, and other sediments after periods of time

Thus why primarily glass REGULATORS and SWITCHES go "bad" in doors.

Shortage: Water Has : 0 resistance beside or / of electricity

#2 your Car Battery Voltage is sustained (Held) by WATER itself.
The water dose not produce the voltage or amps , yet holds and releses it, to your "cars" components.

If You own No other problems ,other then A gap contained by the "window seal" itself, it's should not be to complane about.

Keep "driving" your warrenty on the factor repaired
