My saloon won't start on first try after an hour park. What constituent could be impossible?

My car recently have had a lot work done to it. First It have intermittent stall problem. The mechanic replaced the fuel pump, but it wasn't it and eventually he found it was a bad crank sensor cable. Problem fixed, but now it's developing a new problem. It won't start on first try after it parks for at tiniest an hour. If I turn my key to position 2 and count for 2 seconds after start and It will start. If I start it right away and it will turn over and not start. I think it's the fuel pump, but it's new. Could the tentative fuel pump fail? No drivability problem after it started. Any inputs would be appreciated. Honda Passport 99, 4WD.

How do I locate my nissan altima...

"Won't start" is pretty inexact. It could be hundreds of posibilities.
Dead battery, Low battery, bleak ground wire to engine, bad power lead to starter, bad power wire to mobile, bad connection at freestyle post or terminals, blown fuse, bad push button switch, bad starter, bad fuel pump, doomed to failure injectors, out of gas, neutral safety switch, seized engine, broken connecting rod, no compression, no spark, doomed to failure oil pressure switch, broken timing belt, plugged fuel filter, bad starter solenoid, broken rotor, cracked distributor panama, Anti-theft device, water in/on engine, vacuum leak, discouraging ignition coil, blown computer, faulty cam or crank sensor ...

When you turn the key to START it what happen?
1) Nothing happens? (dead battery?, loose battery-operated cables, or it's not in "park" adjectives the way.)
2) You hear a "click", but nothing else? (loose battery-operated cables, bad starter, bleak starter solenoid, or broken engine)
3) You hear the starter turning, but the engine doesn't turn? (low battery voltage, bad starter or unpromising ring gear on flywheel/flex plate)
4) The starter turns the engine, but the engine won't start up? (out of gas, bad fuel pump, plugged fuel filter, broken timing belt, no spark)
5) The engine turns over, but very slowly. (weak freestyle, worn starter, out of engine oil)
6) the engine turns, but there's an awful banging noise? (something is broken inside the engine)

What happen last time you drove it?

1) Drove home fine last darkness, just won't start today?
2) Was driving fine, and it just died on you?
3) You haven't driven it within a while. It's been parked in storage?

Answers:    It sounds like it's the fuel pressure regulator. The regulator will hold fuel surrounded by the lines while the vehicle is turned off so that when you go to start it again in that is fuel at the injectors. the reason why if you wait a few second before starting and then it works is because the fuel pump is presently pressurizing the lines.
That is the first place I would look.

The problem is the fuel is bleeding back out of the lines. The problem could be the fuel pump itself or you need to hold the complete sending unit replaced(in tank fuel pump).

What is the effect on engine operation...

from my personal experience, you have a leaky injector or fule line the soak might not be that bad, but bad adequate that when u park the gas pressure leaks out of the line and when u jump to start it and leave the key foward for a couple of second and it pressureizes and then starts. hope that helps apt luck
