I have a Ford Focus 1.8 petrol (UK) and when driving I can hear a hissing or whistle sound when the revs are between something like 1250 and 1500 rpm.
When I rev the engine in indeterminate there does not seem to be to be a noise contained by that rev range. Does anyone hold any ideas as to why the echo is only present when driving surrounded by a gear ?
Answers: Your problem is you bought a FORD. Try buying a Chevy so you don't have to traffic with these problems.
