Ok it have the 6.6 403 within it and it's knock and loosing power?

from when i took it to Sicero drag strip in NY,now if i get this would it bolt to the engine mounts and tranny,it's a 79 T/A.

That is track to much for that motor without the warranty that you'd get from a bigger outfit. Buy from Jegs or Summitt. I bought a 383 stroker built to the hilt from Jegs for $3200. beside a good warranty.

don't you think it would be better to ask the character who has the engine for sale if it will fit..since they are pontiac experts close to they claim..there should be a way to ask them on ebay

Answers: If your asking if the Pontiac 455 HO will bolt up to your Olds transmission,yes it will.. Pontiac,Olds,Buick are all duplicate tranny.. You might have to change engine mounts though,not sure... I enjoy a 79 TA also with a 461 Olds..
