Paint errand?

I am going to get a paint charge on my 2000 celica and i'm just curious approximately how much does a professional paint post cost with clear coat and everything. My other way out is to buy the paint and let a friend paint it but he doesn't own a temperature controlled paint booth and i hold heard in the past that the temperature have to be within a enduring range until that time you can paint a car. So my grill is do i save money and consent to the friend do it or spend more and have it done by professionals.
