Passenger Side Airbag Deflation?

Will an airbag in a 2004 Nissan Altima deflate on the passenger side when nobody is sitting surrounded by the pass form? My son just have an accident and both airbags deflated and he indicated nobody be driving with him. It's not a big agreement, but I also noticed the plastic cover on the form belt on the pillar was popped bad on BOTH sides and laying on the floor.

Very feeble nissan micra F reg?

Answers:    The nouns bag sensor is on the front bumper towards the passenger side of the vehicle. On that model they deploy together. Only if the hit be on the sensor. If the hit is not low enough of toward the driver side (on minor hits) the plenty will not deploy. They have to be replaced as a duet, along with the sensor and clock spring. AND THE SEAT BELTS IF THEY HAVE BEEN STRAINED TO A CERTAIN POINT. If they hold you will see a message on the actual belt that says it wishes replacing. pull the belt out and look toward the apparatus that it retracts into. You will see where the belt is folded over and sewn. Underneath this sewn bit is that message. If the belt has to be replaced the stiches will be torn. Many society and body shops over look this detail. We never do.

2001 Kia Optima Question?

Most cars today have denizen sensors that are mounted in the spaces. This is to prevent deployment in a non-occupied form. It may be that your vehicle did not come equipped with this sensor and as a result, both oodles will deploy. Inflate is the term you are looking for when the loads deploy.
