I can't get my hood to pop. I tried pulling on the cable with pliers and its tight as sh*t but pulling on it isn't popping it. I tried stomping on the hood. What is my subsequent option?
Try getting someone to verbs the wire while you tap on the hood and see if it pops. Or hold down on the hood while someone pulls the cable and after let go and see if it releases

When my cavaliers hood would stick I first pulled on the hood release latch contained by the car and then have too sometimes push down and pull up on the hood to get it to pop up. When you do go and get it open spray some lubricant on the latch they have a proclivity to stick if they haven't been lubricated.Try getting someone to verbs the wire while you tap on the hood and see if it pops.
