Problem near 2004 Chevy Impala. Can you suggest anything??

My 2004 Chevy Impala died last dark and had to be towed for the 4th time this week! The first darkness it died, my mechanic replaced the fuel pump after finding that the fuse to the fuel pump kept blowing. The second time it had to be towed be right after he replaced the fuel pump. I had it towed hindmost. The fuse was blown again. My mechanic replaced the relay for the fuel pump. It run ok for about a week , except it starts like crap. Never starts on the first or second try presently! Third time I had it towed be because it just would not start contained by front of my house. This time I had it towed to an Automotive Electrical Shop. They found a corroded, loose ground by the controls wall. They cleaned it and reatached it. After that, the scan tool showed NO codes! It started, but still takes 2 - 3 trys to achieve it started. The fourth time (Last night) it died again. The fuel pump fuse had blown again. We tried replacing the fuse, but it keep blowing. It's back at my mechanics shop. Any Suggestions??

Answers:    Here contained by lies the problem. You maybe chasing an electrical gremlin cause by the removal of police equipment. Being an ex cop car, the saloon would have have many switches, wires, lights, radios etc. that adjectives were removed. Did the uninstaller remove the equipment properly or lately cut and tape wires? Happens pretty often where on earth the company or government garage that does the work will of late cut the wires and tape them up disappearing open wires exposed.
