truck ran great and out of no where on earth it first started to loose power at 40 miles per hour now after months and to different machanicsit runs apposite untill you get going we cut stale the exuast still no luck replaced numerous sensors and a new computer and nouns cleanerbut it is geting worse the turbo seams to work
Answers: throttle position section?! Is possible, I had to replace mine twice during 230K miles, and I own hear of many inhabitants having TPS problems on the first gen Powerstroke.
IS it an auto, or the 5spd? Mine be an auto, and I has a mysterious issue near the tranny and power output. During wide start throttle, I would loose the torque convertor lockup in 2nd and 3rd above 2500rpm, it would lock/unlock/lock/unlock at a speedily rate, and the truck didn't have full power output nor could I build full boost. I would a moment ago shut down the truck, restart, and it would run great, just approaching nothing be wrong.
