I have have my car ignition vat pulled out. Have bought another one but proton persona has an imobiliser fitted. I cannot start the sports car by connecting wires. I need to lift the car to garage to enjoy my window and ignition fitted. Does anyone know which wires are for imobiliser so I can filch out and start car. In short inevitability to know which wires I need to connect so coup¨¦ starts without the antiquated key. I know finishing resort is recovery truck but want to squirrel away some money
Answers: hi thee if the it is what they call a chipped ignition system after it will not start without the system anyone operational the immobilisor system is incorporated into the ecu and it cannot be bypassed it have to be reset acording to new unit by computer sory jock
If it's a chipped key you will have need of to hold the old switch up to the new barrell transponder when starting it for the immobiliser to come rotten.
