I drive a 1999 Saturn SL1. It has about 114,000 miles on it at this point. Anyways, I a moment ago had a few engine problems fixed about a week ago, but presently, a couple times, I start the car, and literally one second after it's about to turn on, the power go off altogether. Then, I cannot get the vehicle started again (no clicking sound or anything trying to turn the ignition), but cannot do it unless I have it jumpstarted. Anybody hold any ideas what this might be?
if you are unsure how to do this, you can own a mechanic do it.
Either a bad battery cable or a loose nouns. Primary location for a loose connector is at the battery posts..
it sounds like you hold an alternator getting ready to go out.. stir someplace that waranties the parts for life because alternators are funny little suckers.. and sometimes even after you have them replaced they walk bad again within a few months .near the warranty for life they will have to replace it again for no charge..( i have this happen also)
the alternator drains the battery which contained by turn stalls your car out..(i had an SL 1 also ) my sports car did that for a month then one day it wouldnt even start. (generally when you replace the alternator its a virtuous idea to replace the battery as very well.. because its drains the battery so badly when they are discouraging..
sounds to be a loose battery-operated cable on the battery .or the ground cable to the body,

Answers: You have a loose freestyle cable. Remove both the cables from the battery, check for corrosion and next reinstall and make sure that they are tight.
If there is any corrosion on the cable, you should replace it.

Yup, I'll vote on a battery cable problem.if you are unsure how to do this, you can own a mechanic do it.
