Help, ive had this intermittent problem. Whilst driving the injector qualification light comes on and the engine dies (like when running out rotten petrol) but then after apporx a few second it picks up. the light go off when it picks up. can anyone give a hand. ive been a few garages but not much luck. Its not highly reasuring when driving and the engine goes. Any minister to would be much appreciated. thank you
Answers: not an uncommon problem next to this engine, fault is normaly contained by the electrics, check the conections for the fuel shut off spout, also a bottle of injector cleaner in next to your fuel would not hurt.

The injector's getting blocked. You need to drive at a constant speed of 70mph for at least possible 20 miles. Also, check that you are using a decent class of diesel, NOT Tesco's or Sainsbury's. Hopefully, this will clear it up.
