This has happen twice, on the passenger side rear helm. It doesn't seem to begin when I'm braking or turning or accelerating overly, it only just sort of... happens. It sounds approaching a loud thunk-thunk-thunking, almost like the tire have gone flat, and loud rubbing. The car doesn't swerve or lose control while it happen.
The first time I pulled over and looked at the wheel and didn't become aware of anything wrong; nothing stuck surrounded by there and no parts slack off. When I started rotten again it didn't continue. I hoped that it have just be some road junk stuck on the rudder that then come loose, though it sounded too mechanical to be that. Then today it happen again without caution. When I brake and come to a complete stop, then start going again, it have gone away.
If anyone knows what this could be and whether it's serious plenty to get checked out (and if so how much it might cost), that would be greatly advantageous because I'm incredibly poor.
It's a 1999 Ford Taurus, if that helps.
Answers: could be a quantity of things such as a drum brake going bad or a reverse strut or strut mount i was never especially good beside fords sorry only deal with GM's i would intuitively take it to a mechanic i don't know where on earth you live or if you have a Tuffys but i meditate they are nationwide and they do free inspections.
Yes it requests to be checked out. There is no way of knowing what is wrong in need a inspection. You do know something is wrong so go draw from it looked at before you snuff out someone.
