hi i drive a 93 civic dx hatch.
i have a problem with my distributor so i inevitability to remove it.
i removed the cap, but am having difficulty gettin the rotor stale, because the screw is kinda covered by the leak cover. how can i rotate the rotor manually to get the screw to be at the top/easier to remove? gratitude for any help
one you should not own to remove the cap but the distibutor usally has two bolts holdin to the engine and it have splinds on the end of your distributor like slanted gears if you own to take the cap stale you should still have to do this with the bolts to the engine consequently in neutral after mark your timing you should be able to remove it not working against your splind gears on it take heed of gettin it out of time it can be aggrevating sometimes and they make stuff hard to acquire to on cars and now even differnt tools tryind to keep you circulating the money for a sports car around at the dealers for even more money

Answers: get contained by the car and just turn the ignition push button once or twice just till it engages the starter fast and then check to see where the screw is, preserve doing this until the screw is where you need it to be.
