I want to restore a classic car but I dont want to take it apart.
The frame is biddable and there is minimal rust on the car deem to be a "small project car". The car is white and I want to paint it a midnight black but I would like to remove adjectives the paint and take off the rust and fix the holes. I hear that sandblasting a car when its still assembled was a desperate idea because the sand can go everywhere and can wreck other things.
I heard the best thing to do is to grind down the paint beside electric sanders but am unsure if this is advisable.
I need some opinions on the safest road to remove paint from a car without taking it adjectives apart.

the best thing for the sports car would be to sand it back by hand but when u r done u wont hold an arm left lol
i have merely restored my bike paint job to black the easiest way to go and get past the paint thing woud be to use the gadget for it just use bout 800 or more grit sandpaper the finer the longer it will take but the better the outcome but be highly gentle anythign you dont want to work on is easily protected travel buy a plastic drop sheet from the hardware they r like $3 and a roll of masking cassette cut up the drop sheet and tape it on to the areas to be protected just generate sure you are careful of the lines on the edge of the video dont want paint on the wrong spots.

Answers: Sodablasting. it's similar to sandblasting but won't warp the steel... Be warned though if there is any body filler it will remove it matching as if you sanded it down.
