I have a 2003 Mini Cooper S and I call for new backside brakes. It only have 30K miles on it. Should I need current rotors too? I don't want to be the standard girl that goes contained by and gets taken for a ride. Also what should it cost near labor?
Thank you!
Answers: DONT listen to mark! At the tremendously least cut the rotors first. People doing a pad swap is the number one rationale of rotor warp.
there is a minimun concreteness for the rotors and if resurfacing them (cutting) will make them thinner than what is the minimun sanctuary specs then they should be replaced. But if its the first brake opportunity then it should not be needed to replace unless they are severely sick or spotted.
Thank you!
