It is running to lean. Black smoke at high revs and the smell of gas. I looked for adjustment screw and could not find any except for idle adj. The individual thing I could see is a black flat piece on the wager on that can be adjusted. Maybe i'm missing it. please aid
Answers: Sounds like the carburetor is running too rich not too lean.
Their is a hermetically sealed adjustment but it is only for decline air/fuel ratio and won't make a difference stale idle.
You might be capable of adjust the float level to lean it out, but most promising you will need to replace the carburetor. Once those introduction carbs wear out, they are almost unfixable.
