S-10 V8 Conversion overheat problem.?

I have an 85 S-10 Blazer SUV near V8 350 engine from 77 Caprice. The radiator is for Corvette, heater used restricted nipple to weaken the flow into heater core. I hold been trying to remove the overheat problem by not using A/C, however, during the hot days, temp. around 90 F, the car will overheat. I settled to remove the A/C system all together including condensor to amend the radiator efficiency, mounts one push hanger-on in front the radiator...any other ways to get rid of the overheat problem? The distance between flex fan turns beside engine, is about 1.5 inches, thus, cannot use verbs fans.

Answers:    Try ebay for conversion book. You can charge a aluminum radiator made just for this project. If you dont deduce this is it take the fender well out and put in a double electric follower in next to an oil cooler. Oil seam to have a big impact on this truck Ive done 2 of them.

How can I fool my ECU if...

Well you could ditch the flex supporter and replace with electric fan.It will cool better and increase horsepower a little bit.If you settle on to cool a little better use watercool surrounded by the radiator, you can get watercool at O'rielly's and i believe at Napa.It is a street and track racers stealthy weapon against engine heat. Also if you want to keep the flex follower you could make sure you hold the proper fan shroud for the radiator it help with pulling more cool nouns through. I hope some of this will help you beside your overheating problem.Good luck.
