I was driving on a freeway and it be extremely windy. The loop blew dirts and sands and gone very tiny but heaps scratch grades on the hood of my car (just on one side of the hood and nowhere else on my saloon strangely). It is not deep at adjectives nor catches my nail when I run my hand over it. So I am guessing it lately damaged the clear coat, but the scratch are very vivid lower than the sunlight especially when looking from a narrow angle. I bought Meguiar's ScratchX, but the scratch doesn't look any better after a several attemps. I think the scratch are too fine for the product to work. I thought of taking my car to a detailing place, but I would resembling to fix it myself if there are other solutions that are potent. Thanks for your help!
Answers: try a moral wax i forget what its call if you shift into a big parts store like advanced auto or auto zone here this wax it starts with a Z and it blue its smells tropical but its one of the better wax out there i would try that it might overrun in the scratch and polish them out i would probably try that but you could also get a buffer and buffing compound and buff your integral car
clay public house then a pious cleaner/wax. i like meguiars brand. and the wax #a1216 is cheap and works great. be #1 in consumer reports a few years ago, is found everywhere and is close to $6 a bottle. the clay bar is just about $16. works great for me.
