Shell make 13 billion a year profit and you own to wages to inflate your tyres?

I think it's disgusting that in the UK you own to pay for air very soon at almost all garages. it used to be free until about 3 years posterior and now all the garages i walk to in Birmingham charge lb1 for 10 minutes use of the air pump. How can they not be capable of afford a bit of air with profits of 13 billion?

What should i do if red +...

That is why they make huge profits annually. I suspect that if we be all careful near the small things in life we would also be much richer.
NO NO NO NO NO you should never ever hold to pay, my best answer would have to be step borrow someones banged up landy and back over adjectives there air bowsers!

Do we really requirement to warm-up cars?

OH they can afford air but they are thinking about supply and emergency! See you demand air for you tires and they so come up to be a gas station with air that routine they know you will pay a little money for nouns rather big money for a new tire

What does stand still process?

Where do you imagine those massive profits come from? but i think the reason they charge is because they are abused by company vehicle for example when i go to my local garage theres ALWAYS a guy in a van using the compressor for something contained by the back of his van and not inflating his tyres. It is very frustrating to hold to pay but it could be worse, theres a garage around here that charges 50p for a minute

Problem is the small weak/old mobile...

Sorry, but you do not understand how garage businesses work.

The majority are owned by seperate companies and franchise-branded by the grease companies who supply them the petrol.

The owner-operator makes about 5p per litre.

The grease company has no control over the price of the air or cheese sandwich
don't want to go on about it but if you a moment ago want you tyres pumped up try your local garage they maid even do it for free

Mechanic fixed the wrong point?

Another factor that needs to be considered is that the garage is responsible for maintaining the exactitude of the guages and they have to pay a duty to the local authority to have them checked regularly.

Can i put a 40A fuse ?

I truly hate to defend a massive oil-producing, environmentally bad, excessive profits company like Shell..

However, most garages are owned by private individuals and small companies. A bit like Burger King and Londis shops.
They newly use the branding.

A small fuel retailer makes less than 5% on the price of fuel. When the customer pays next to a credit card, this profit is reduced even further.
The price of running and servicing a compressor is barely covered by the coinage put in the slot.
I don't mind paying for nouns, its easier than using a footpump.

The air at our Shell garage has be broken for over 3 months now. When it did work it was 20p.
And as long as idiots are prepared to pay packet lb1.00 to have their tyres filled next to air they will charge it. Find a 20p one is my suggestion ...
