Truth is the best solution is to acquire a flush then drop the pan and amendment the filter. This wastes fluid but it is the best of both services. If you are not interested in that next here's my advise. If the fluid is not burned then evolution the filter and fluid with that. If it is burned then the flush may be better. Answers: I worked as a mechanic for quiet some times and I would say don't capture a fluid change get a tranny flush this will exchange adjectives the fluid in the tranny, the tranny cooler and the lines. Also if you want to get it done find it done soon generally the it is recommended that it be done between 60K and 80K miles but I wouldn't recommended over 100K miles because basicaly what happens is the seal will start to wear away and will actually become full up with the junk surrounded by the fluid and a fluid exchange will flush and the junk and dirt out and you will develop a problem like fluid leak from the seals so I would say if you don't acquire it done soon then forget about it
