I have 167,000 miles on my '99 chevy silverado and am considering getting a transmission flush and cram, but i have heard it may wounded my vehicle. Also, what is the average price on this kind of job? Thanks

The only rationale it may cause a problem is if you have one already. It should be done every 25-30,000 miles. The price should run more or less 100 bucks or 150 with a filter change.
