Should i take a throttle body?

i have a 2002 Acura Rsx type- S. I want to add hp and a friend of mine said that i should put on a bright performance throttle body. My three questions are, how much hp do they add on, who makes a good one, and how do i know which bore size to catch?

Could this be my struts?

skunk2 make a good throttle body for the RSX, and they are definantly a righteous buy. they don't add a whole lot of power, but they include enough to make a okay difference, the key difference being response. u want to be carefull not to get one too big tho, because that can cause the fuel to be too pure and it won't curn properly. procure one of about 68-70mm, and u'd be set

Antique International Motor?

Answers:    Throttle body's RARELY have any effect on engine performance (intake various has more to do with it) unless the TPS/throttle plate is had it properly (or a vacuum leak) If you want instant performance improvement, try have your ECM chip upgraded.
