i have a 1994 inifniti j30t near 189,000 miles and i was wondering if i should rework the transmission fluid on it or not? result in i heard its a doomed to failure idea to do that if it have high miles? please lend a hand me out thanks
Answers: Yes tranny grease do NOT last forever. In reality they mostly last roughly speaking 5 year at most. If you feel self-conscious doing it yourself, do it at a dealer - or tranny shops. Don't stir to quicky lube. They barely know how to do engine grease change. The wrost article that could happen is that they will help yourself to your money and do nothing. This have been resourcefully documented on You Tube video (TV reports).
After that get your radiator fluid flushed. The also individual last give or take a few 3 to 5 years (max). Again don't do it at quicky lube.
