So i run my saloon completely out of fuel, did i lose power/horses?

Answers:    Depending on what kind of car, but you can wreckage the fuel pump. And that can cause a loss of power.

EDIT: Your fuel pick up is on the bottom on the tank, so running of out fuel isn't going to motivation it to pick up debris. If you have ruins blocking your fuel filter, you have other problems.

What might have happen is that you sucked up the water and dirt at the bottom of the tank into your carb or fuel injection nozzles plugging them up so they would not adjectives be working well. They would need a cleaning...

when you run a vehicle out of fuel you will pick up trash from the bottom of the container that could cause to strainer or fule filter to become clogged. try some high category gas and a good injector cleaner like lucas.
