Somethings stripped?

I went to get my grease changed today... the guy said it wasnt that big of a problem but... the thing where u drain the grease from is stripped or something because it was leaking a touch... he said it wasnt that big of a problem i was just wondering how unpromising it actually is

How do i know if it is...

depends on whats stripped is the head of tha bolt stripped or is are tha threads stripped? if the manager of the bold is stripped then its an easy fix only just replace it if the treads are stripped then you got a problem and close to tha other guy said $150 to fix.
Most newer oil pans are made of aluminum and the grease drain plugs are steel so when a mechanic gets careless or surrounded by a hurry you can mess the threads up quick. You might get lucky and enjoy it seal after running a thread restorer through the hole and putting in a different drain plug. Don't use a tap. A tap cuts threads...a restorer reform threads. You don't want to cut out any metal! If that doesn't work then you can buy oversized drain plugs for $3-5 that work fine when installed correctly.

ALOT OF QUICK CHANGE PLACES ARE RUN BY HIGHSCHOOL DROP OUTS AND ARENT REALLY SURE WHAT THEY ARE DOING,THEY HAVE NO TRAINING OTHER THAN WHAT THEY SAW DONE SOMEWHERE.AND THEY THINK IF TIGHT IS GOOD TIGHTER IS BETTER,RESULTING IN STRIPPED OIL DRAIN PLUG,SOME PLACES WILL TRY TO PUT AN OVER SIZED SELF TAPPING PLUG IN,BUT MOST OF THE TIME IF CAUGHT EARLY ENOUGH YOU CAN RUN A THREAD CHASER IN THE HOLE AND CLEAN UP THE THREADS.

Where can i find a diagram/instructions on...

Answers:    if it's stripped it is a big deal...the vessel has to be taken off and retapped (threaded)...bill should be give or take a few $150 ...take it back and report to him he will be receiving a bill for the repair
