in traffic and I move slow, I hear this squealing when I apply the breaks. It is more approaching a squealing and grinding noise coming from right front tiller. it only happen at really low speeds. it is not the pads, i checked and they are okay. My coup¨¦ is a Pontiac Vibe.

Sounds close to wear monitors on the brake pads doing their assignment. Time to get pad and rotors changed. They look OK and have wad on them but if they are less than 1/4" attain them changed as they heat up faster.
Now it is possible that they are squeaking as sometimes brakes newly do that. and the grinding may be grit or actually surface rust built up on the rotor if you don't drive the vehicle habitually.
