Stuck Starter?

For the past week or so, when I find in my saloon in the morning, and try to start it, nil happens at first. However, adjectives the lights/sounds of the car are working. Take for instance this morning's sequence of events. The first time I tried, nought. The second, a split second turnover. The third, a little longer turnover. The fourth, vehicle started. The battery on this motor was replaced 1 1/2 years ago, and I drive it enormously short distances. Once the car is started, everything works ably and I don't see any problems until the next sunshine. The temperature is more or less 60 degrees within the mornings.

Any ideas what might be wrong?
