OK I know very little more or less cars, but I spent time with some friends who fixed our cars commonly and taught me, so i twig some things.
If the muffler were cracked, would I seize the noise from the subsidise, from the whole vehicle?
Wouldn't the noise be loudest fundamental the problem in the system?
Answers: Year, produce and model? Some cars had problems beside the seal going desperate between the exhaust manifold and header pipe or header/front pipe to the cat converter. Could also be an nouns injection system problem if your car have that. Pinpoint the noise to see what's wrong.
resourcefully if it is exhaust, you could have an exhaust dribble somewhere after the manifold or headers. but you better build sure its the exhaust system and not the engine.
