Switching Transmissions on 94 and 95 Ford F150?

I have a 1995 Ford F150 4x4 Automatic beside a 302 and i have 1994 Ford F150 4x4 300 6 cylinder and wanting to know if i can use the nouns out of the 1994 on the 1995?

Answers:    The answer provided in your previous post is correct - if the two transmissions are matching, then they will bolt up (i.e. both are 4R70W transmissions). If one is a 4R70W and the other is a E4OD, after no they won't interchange, mostly due to wire harness and linkage differences. However, it does not expiration there. Even if the two transmissions are alike, there will be differences contained by the valve body calibrations between the two years that may affect trans operation and shifting, even if everything hooks up correctly. Bottom string, unless you have the tools and ease, I suggest repairing the one in the 1995 or installing the correct replacement to avoid complications.
