Thoughts on Gunk 5-Minute Engine Flush?

I have a 1997 Jeep grand Cherokee loredo next to the 4.0 I6 engine. it has 162,000 miles on and i changed the oil on sunday but up to that time i did that, i used Gunk 5-Minute Engine Flush. since my engine is old, it has profusely of sludge, varnish, etc which was making my motor oil see quickly and burning off plentifully oil. now i know its an infirm engine and that does happen, but when i used the gunk flush, it cleaned it up amazingly, and the oil burn sour has been better . i am curious if anyone else have used it and what they think of it?

Ktm sparkplugs?

I would never use the stuff. It is bascially a super detergent and gets all kind of gunk in your engine loosed up. So all of that stuff that be harmlessly sitting in nooks and crannies is presently floating around your bearings and oil pump pickup scree. If I hold an engine I want to "clean" out I'll use a little Marvel Mystery Oil. it isn't near as grating.
ive used it before and it works good, but if you enjoy lots of grime and build-up, its best to drop the oil pan and verbs it out, or the screen on the pump could get clogged up.

Ford escort quiting problem?

It's good stuff, but if you have any grease leaks, it works too good.
It made my leak bigger. So I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that has any kind of grease leak(s).

Answers:    Such products will clean out some of the sludge but will do zilch for the wear and tear on an engine. It can actually be more injurious to some engines. The best thing to do is follow a schedule of regular grease changes and when the time comes, do some mechanical looking after.
