When you install the belt, you need to find the timing grades. They are notches or dots or both that you own to align so the cam and the crank will move at the same time and to be sync beside each other. Ignition Timing is not required to set ( I cogitate is not out of adjustment) but does not hurt to check.

Get a shop manual for details.

Answers:    If you're sure everything is OK? All you really have need of is to "Replace the Timing Belt and Set the Timing Marks (On the Cam and Crank Shaft Pulleys) Per engine Specifications" and everything should be fine.

NOTE; If you set the Timing Marks wrong you may tend to damage valve and push rods! If everything goes ok you may want to own the timing checked in a righteous shop later!
