I own a 2000 chevy silverado z71 and my truck sits lower in the front and higher contained by the back. i was wondering if i could incline my truck around 2 inches by adjusting my torsion bars. Will it work? Will it spoil my vehicle?
You can lift it maybe 1 inch this way, by doing this your truck will ride approaching total crap. I had a 99 Chevy silverado z71 i did this to and I ended up putting it wager on how it belonged just to get the ride support. You can buy leveling kits for this very issue.
You can make higher it a little, but not 2". When you raise a vehicle beside the torsion bar, you are basically making the spring (torsion bar) stiffer. This will adversely cash your handling.
There are companies that make leveling kits for your truck. I would turn with something like that.

Answers: chevy doesn't have torsion bars, you must be thinking of a chrysler product.
