Trading contained by a vehicle i.e. burning grease?

I am gettting ready to trade within a car to be exact lealing oil through the exhaust. I'm discussion pretty heavy ooze, about 1 qt every 200 miles. It's not burning it, newly spitting it out the exhaust, suspect it's a exhasut valve gasket.

Anyhoo.... Should I disclose this info when I trade within the car? I DON'T want to tender the dealership any free info to screw me, but I'm not a dishonest person any. Is it considered dishonest, or even somewhat illegal to supress info nearly major defect that you are aware of when trading in? Other than the grease loss, the car is a watertight 2000 Celica GT..Thanks !!

The dealer will know anyway. They don't really precision that much as long as the car moves. They'll tool it off on a wholesaler who will draw from some shop to put a used engine in if it's worth in your favour.

Honda S2000 unemployed -gas/air mixture?

It is illegal contained by most states to sell a motor without describing a potential buyer about a most important mechanical issue.
Many states hold laws that if the buyer finds out after the certainty, they can come back to you and you MUST buy the coup¨¦ back from them (sometimes plus any expense they have to put out).
If you're an honest person, next this should be a no-brainer for you anyway!!

Answers:    The dealer will check out your trade contained by before they present you a trade in price. Best to influence nothing something like it using oil. Do you deem they would tell you if you be buying it from them??
