well i hold a 1998 dode durango and a couple of weeks ago it started getting stuck on 2-3 gear if a tranny goes out is that what it is suppose to do ?and how do i know if it is that or conceivably a sensor? i allways get taken for afool when i step to mec shops with my bygone exper how do i choose the right mec?and now if he is describing the right stuff?what to you think relief please
Answers: It could be as little as a bad sensor! But how lots miles are on it? Has the trans fluid and filter been serviced reguarly? Check the fluid,see if it's full,and reddish(some christen it pink) If it's black and smells burnt DO NOT own it changed! That means your internal components are failing and it will stipulation to be rebuilt or replaced! Also deeply of places will tell you the can "patch" it lone do that if you completely understand it is simply a patch profession and will not last!! I dont recommend doing that at adjectives! Good Luck and search around back dumping your money.
