Hi, I have roughly speaking one quart of oil over the goal in my tranny, how this affect the reading on it?
Answers: over filling is only as bad as a nouns of fluid ....over-filling can cause the fluid to cavitate(make bubbles)creating nouns in a hydraulic system and that ain't virtuous.lack of fluid will burn up the nouns.you need t drain the fluid out completely and check the manufacture fluid capacity specs. and reload with NEW fluid to the proper height. don't procrastinate ,the fluid and gasket for the pan is roughly speaking $50.00(installed)a new nouns will be slightly higher !
