I found out that I need to get my nouns rebuilt, I've decided to draw from a used one and find someone 2 put it in, the trannys im finding are around $500 with around 70-90k miles on them, is this a good buy? and also whats the average cost of someone 2 replace my current tranny with another one? please relieve

do not buy a used one i rebuilt my 2001 chrysler sebring after singular 60k miles if you pay 500 for a used 1 you will end up have to buy another one so just get it rebuild i did my own and the master rebuild kit be only 250 but you will end up paying 1500 or more for parts and labor depending on which one you enjoy mine is the 3.0l made by mitsubishi

Answers: I'd never put a used transmission in a motor, that is a total gamble on your element, if the mechanic of your choice installs it and anything is wrong with it, you will be paying labor twice. I'd suggest shopping around for a rebuild next to a decent warranty.
