Answers: It depends on what type of united it has.If one pipe in recent times slips over the other with a clamp around, you can reuse the matured clamp and some exhaust jointing paste available from any auxiliary shop.If its a bolted joint next to a flange then it will be a pressed metal gasket, again if your watchful you can reuse the old one beside a little jointing blend. Finally there is a round ring type gasket, which you can reuse also.If the clamp or gasket is missing or destroyed try your local supplement store they normally convey a reasonable mix.
You can bring back a "Gas collar" which is link a ring which fits surrounded by the join of the pipe and seal it airtight.
