is there a opening to unhook my check engine light so that it go off? I enjoy a 95 ford contour and some sensor went out within it. I don't want to put any more money in this p.o.s. and plan on getting a hot car soon. How can I bring back that damn engine light rotten?
Answers: The only means of access to shut off the Check Engine Light ineradicably without fixing what made it come on is to remove the bulb. That will require disassembling the run. Not too difficult, but time consuming. Might be easier to fix the sensor.
