I drive a stick shift Hyundai Elantra wagon
If clutch chatter is due to oil seepage, would it consistently chatter/shudder?
Sometimes I won't own much chattering when shifting, other times it will always chatter/shudder with respectively shift. Thanks in advance...Can't find answer anywhere...
Chatter could be or lead to broken springs in the clutch but I choose the oil on the clutch plate answer.Need a seal within the engine not a nice job either track.
Answers: Yes, a clutch covered contained by oil will always chatter. Sometimes it will lessen next to heat but I have not be able to get it to move about away without completely replacing the clutch, resurfacing the flywheel and fixing the source of the oil which is usually the flipside main seal explicitly changed out when the flywheel is serviced.

Anyone know how to unfold the hood...
Clutch chatter will be more noticeable at lower speeds, starting from a dead stop, at lower rpm shifts, and when the clutch is warm up from driving/shifting for a while. Riding the clutch pedal is something many people do and deny they do it. Whenever a soul is holding a car in place on a mound using the clutch, they are riding the clutch. Whenever a person slowly releases the clutch pedal and revs the motor to make a smooth start, they are riding the clutch pedal. Anyone too laid-back to start out from first gear at a stop and uses second gear is riding the clutch. All of these bad habits will not singular make clutch chatter from overheating the clutch, but will cut the clutch discs life surrounded by half. So next time you see the motor in front of you on a hill rocking vertebrae and forth up and down the slope, you know they should have bought a car next to an automatic transmission.Chatter could be or lead to broken springs in the clutch but I choose the oil on the clutch plate answer.Need a seal within the engine not a nice job either track.
