Does anybody know how to turn the traction control on a 07 V50 completly of?
You can manually turn the spin control off but that's adjectives.

Speaking of safekeeping, Volvo offers an unrestricted stability system with no smaller quantity than four elements. There's TC (Traction Control) which works like your average limited-slip differential by transferring power not here or right to the wheel near greater grip. SC (Spin Control), which many other maker call traction control, reduce torque to the wheels when critical. AYC (Active Yaw Control) makes the greatest contribution by braking individual wheel strategically to prevent skids. Finally EBA (Emergency Brake Assistance) is there to ramp up braking force when a nouns stop is sensed. Traction Control is the only one Volvo let you turn off.

(please remeber that I do kinda agree with you . the first entity I do with a useed sports car is loose the SRS airbags, then loose the ABS anti lock breaks. I cant meditate of anything worse than not having breaks for 25 foot after an ice patch or 50 foot after rail road tracks BUT BUT BUT
its somewhat complicated and takes some plain electrician skills to pull sour, along with a working knoladge of how the computer works. Without reprogramming the computer it is DARN HARD. The system that you want to turn stale is integral part of the engine control system. You can bypass it and it would other not work without generate any codes, but to turn it on and off take a secondary electric wiring harness and control box. I believe that if you had those skills you wold hold grabbed the schematic and already gone nuts.
I recomend that you go away it on, because lets facade it all volvos' are tank and they need adjectives the help they can acquire darn near 4000lbs of steel is complicated to get around a corner and realy complex to stop and turn
Leave it inplace the results are less than striking, what do you want out of the car.... drive it within a stunt show at the county fair?
