Answers:    The fact that the seat get damp indicates that the leak is highly developed than the floor level. The fact that you don't see or have a feeling water dripping on or past you indicates its lower than the roof plane. Given these indicater's the best place to start is probably the window and the door seals. Door seal shrink over time allowing gaps in the trademark.
If you ever hear wind noise while driving around the door, this would further indicate a stamp. Ask a mechanic or body-shop person to look at them for you. They can probably tell you if that's the problem.
Good Luck

Duralast distributor bonnet?

It is most likely the rubber seal that are supposed to prevent rain from coming inside. check those seals to see if they are broken, tatty or missing. Depending on your budget, you can either have the vendor replace/ repair the seals, or you can order replacement seal and install them yourself, or there are ways to repair them if the damage is minor. See below for instructions.

17. Fix bleak weatherstripping immediately
If your weatherstripping is letting rainwater leak into the interior of your sports car, take a look at it and decide if you can repair it or if it wishes to be replaced. Small leaks can be handled near brush-on seam sealers. Resecure loose sections, not otherwise damaged, near trim adhesive. Torn sections may be repaired beside special caulking available at auto parts stores. You may also be able to extend the life of worn-but-intact section by inserting foam rods, available at automotive stores, into the hollow section of the weatherstripping. If you decide to replace entire section of gasket, don't simply buy generic stuff such as you'd use around the house. Buy a product that matches your car's original weatherstripping -- it's available within a wide variety of profiles from dealerships and automotive mail-order catalogues.

16. Preserve door and porthole seals
Wipe a rubber protectant (such as Armor-All) or silicone on door and window weatherstripping to keep hold of it in good condition. Don't use an oilbased product, such as WD-40, because the grease will damage the rubber. Regular cleaning and treatment of your car's weatherstripping will also lessen the likelihood of your door sticking to its rubber stamp in cold weather, a common motive of damage to the rubber.
