Have you checked the hydraulic fluid stratum? Meyers plows will do the same entry when they get low on fluid.
I grew up in Upstate NY contained by the snow belt so I can appreciate working on cars during the winter months up there. Not knowing roughly snow plows, I would first go to the plow manufacturer's website and download a copy of the installation and operation guide for your plow. Search Google or Yahoo for the manufacturer's name. They may enjoy a technical support hot rank you can call to agree to a technician about the problem too.

Answers: Jeff I also am in upstate NY and yes it is snowing strong, The control valve for your plow is mounted underneath hood correct? the cables own a yoke that hooks to the valve and the cable conclusion is threaded with a nut on ether side, be sure that they are tight also the cable is fastened to the control tap in a similar mode be sure that they are also tight, any free play there is not going to properly control the tap. You may want to next check the mounting to the control go before inside the cab to be sure the cable is tight at hand also. Have fun plowing!
