I have a 2005 ford escape w/ 40,000 miles, it be fine yesterday and this morning but now won't start. At first the door chime be the only entity working, no radio or power windows, we jump it now the radio works as do the window but the car still won't start. Any design and if so how much will it cost to repair?
Answers: You have a fruitless battery. net sure when you replace it you clean the cable real flawless. If it was the alternator you could of jump it. the only other article it might be would be the starter. usually the first bit of cold weather will get a bunch of battery's that are prepared to go fruitless.
Sounds like you hold a bad alternator. Probably around 225 to 300 to own it done in a shop.
