I have a 1972 Nova SS and want more horses out of it. Here is what I enjoy.

Stock crank and rods
300hp heads w/ mild port work
2.02 contained by & 1.60 ex valves
wolverine cam 292 dur w/ .480 move up
Edelbrock high rise nouns gap intake
Holley 600cfm vacuum subsidiary carb
k&n breather
ceramic coated headers
Dual flowmasters
What else can I do? or what else would you do?
Have the carb tuned for the motor by a GOOD speed shop, and own the timing adjusted till it's adjectives in at going on for 3000 rpms. nothing vanished to do on the motor. drive and enjoy, bet it sounds pretty honourable.
Nitrous Oxide
For a carbureted engine, you entail a wet nitrous system
You could glibly get another 100 horsepower
A pious wet system can be purchased for give or take a few $725. You can install it yourself in going on for a day if you are without human intervention inclined.
See the link below. Search for Item number EDL-71840 . This will tender you a starting point.
This kit includes 100, 150, 200, and 250 HP jet. Start small on the jet. Avoid going over more or less 450 horsepower when on nitrous. You need a forged crank, rods, and pistons to move about any higher.
Answers: honestly, it sounds close to you have a really nice engine. I wouldn't do anything, but if your really interested within more horsepower maybe install a blower or a supercharger.
