someone put headers on my 89 camaro.down side is there is no place for o2 sensor to walk and its burning real rich. so i be wonder how hot the temp is coming out the header at the very run out? i have no process to weld a nut on it to put the 02 in,so be thinking jb weld. somewhere along bottom of exhaust.
Answers: negative on the JB weld....remove the headers and own a bung welded into the collector nouns or just affix collectors that have a bung installed already. any way an exhaust shop will be your best friend unless you own a MIG laying around.
prob 4-500 degree temp on the exhaust gasses...some diesels run over 1000!
